Since its adoption in 1908, this waist belt was the main component of the 1908 Pattern Web Equipment used by the United Kingdom until just before the Second World War. This original equipment has become very hard to find in recent years, some considering it rare.
We have 3 sizes available in a variety of colors. Over the many years of use, this equipment has been dyed (often with Blanco) resulting in a variety of colors from khaki to brown to green. We attempted to sort them into 2 general groups: mostly khaki to brown and somewhat brown to green. A few belts have visible manufacturer markings and a date; most observed were from 1919. More will have other added markings such as users names and/or numbers.
These 100+ year old belts are in good to very good condition. Expect all to have some degree of corrosion on the brass hardware, dirt, stains, and some fraying.
