These universal shoulder pads were intended provide addition cushioning for the Field Suspenders and Pack when carrying heavy loads. They can also be used for many other purposes like padding on a rifle sling or musette bag strap.
These are made of 100% cotton and dated 1945. They are in unissued condition and come in either OD green or khaki.
